Rhonda "Janie" Heaslet
Rhonda Janie Heaslet, 62, of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Tulsa surrounded by those who loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Crowder Cemetery in Crowder. Pallbearers will be Jeff Heaslet, Grant Green, Aubrey Bean, George Heaslet, and Luke Heaslet.
Janie was born June 3, 1963, in Bakersfield, California, to Johnny William and Joyce A. (Coleman) Heaslet. She graduated from North High School in Bakersfield and later married Ray Terrill.
Most of Janie's life was devoted to her family and home, a role she cherished. She had a true gift for finding treasures at yard and garage sales, but her greatest joy came from giving them away to others. Her generosity, paired with her big heart, made her someone who always thought of others before herself.
Nothing, however, brought her more happiness than being "Grandma." Her grandchildren-Beck, Athena, Hinlee, Claire, and Paige-were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Janie was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce A. Gipson; brothers, Johnny Wayne Heaslet and Jessie Ray Heaslet; sister, Julianna Heaslet; and niece, Jacqueline Heaslet.
She is survived by her father, Johnny W. Heaslet and his fiancé, Regina Boyd of McAlester; daughter, Shelbi Bean and husband Aubrey of Bristow; son, Grant Green and wife Roxanne of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren, Beck, Athena, Hinlee, Claire, and Paige; brothers, Jeff Heaslet of Eufaula, Frankie Lea Sr. and wife Trish of Cleveland, Texas, and Dave Krahling; sister-in-law, Joanna Heaslet of Wamego, Kansas; niece, Alexandria Heaslet; nephews, Josh Heaslet, Cody Mathis, and Cameron O'Dell; her former husband, Ray Terrill; and her best friend and caregiver, Kim Mills, along with many other beloved relatives and friends.
Those who knew Janie will remember her for her giving spirit, her love of simple joys, and her deep devotion to her family. Her legacy of kindness and love will live on through the many lives she touched.
