Mrs. Janie Jackson Wodzinski, 70, of Ellaville, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, peacefully after an extended illness. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00PM with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating. 

Mrs. Wodzinski was born April 19, 1954, in Phenix City, AL to Roy Roscoe and Willie Maude Hall Jackson. She was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church. Mrs. Wodzinski loved to cook and serve others, as well as sewing blankets for people. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa English, a brother, Roy Jackson, a great-grandson, Anthony Paul Wodzinski and great-granddaughter, Klay Malin Dews. 

Survivors include her husband, Stan Wodzinski of Ellaville; two daughters, Kandice Stewart of Plains, GA and Sharlynn Fletcher (Brian) of Virginia; two sons, Stanley Wodzinski, Jr. of Ellaville and Eric Wodzinski (Tiffany) of Buena Vista; eight grandchildren, Tommy Joseph "TJ" Stewart, Mckinsey Stewart, Chloe Wodzinski, Jake Fletcher (Lacey), Makenzie Caycedo (Kike), Anslee Locke (Trevor), Hanna Dews (Trent), and Erin Brannon (Hatch); five great-grandchildren, Rylan Locke, Kai Dews, Lee Fletcher, Sofia Caycedo, and Millie Fletcher; a brother, Richard Jackson of Fitzgerald, GA; and two sisters, Sheila Masters of Collierville, TN and Vickie Robinson of Andersonville, GA.
