With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our mother, wife, daughter, sister, Janine Bost (Lyons). She was taken unexpectedly but at her home, peacefully in her sleep on June 14, 2024.
Janine accomplished many things in her life. She was born to Patricia (Reinwand) Nelson and William Lyons October 10, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Janine was born with a birth defect called spina bifida occulta and muscular dystrophy, she had numerous surgeries on her neck and shoulders to try and fix it to no prevail. But that didn't stop her.
Janine went to graduate school at Totino Grace High School where she met her boyfriend, Richard Younkin and she had her 1st daughter, Danielle in December 1982. After Janine and Richard split a few years later, she met Rodney Hiles and Janine had her 2nd daughter, Ashley Hiles on July 16, 1984.
In 1986, Janine went onto Concord Institute College and graduated class 1990 with her degree for nursing and became a certified nursing assistant at the North Memorial Cancer Center. In 1991 Janine and her girls settled in Princeton/Zimmerman area and she retired from nursing in 1994. She started working at Princeton Plastics where it was closer to home. In 1995 Janine met the love of her life, Shawn Bost and they married May 3, 1997. Janine and Shawn settled their life together in Cambridge, MN.
Janine is preceded in death by her father, William Lyons, stepfather, Donald Nelson, grandson, Robert Lyons Colter, grandmother, Frances Reinwand, aunt, Marlene Olson, stepbrother, Kelly Murphy.
Janine is survived by husband, Shawn Bost, mother, Patricia Nelson, brother, Bradley Murphy, brother, Johnny Murphy, eldest daughter, Danielle (Andrew) Lyons, daughter, Ashley Hiles, granddaughters, Emily, Willow, Nevaeh, grandsons, Axel, Zayden, great grand babies, Gravity, Phoenix, Nash, aunts and uncles, lots of nieces and nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
