She was born in Wheeling on August 5, 1950, daughter of the late Lee and Clarabel (Munson) Murray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Orum; second husband, Pete Nash; sister, Linda Murray and brother, Randy Murray.
Janis was a Baptist and a member of the former Dallas Pike Baptist Church. She became a Registered Nurse at age 45 and worked at Wheeling Hospital until retirement. She was an animal lover, and enjoyed driving her "Green Machine". Her passion was her family and her great-grandchildren were her life.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth (Becky) Orum Jr.; daughter Peggy (Greg) Supler; grandchildren Brandy (Andrew) Becker, Greg (Tiffany) Supler, Jr., Morgan (Paige) Supler, Cortney Orum, Josh (Jessica) Orum; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Rylee, Kennedy, Oaklee, Owen, Gaige, Gracie, Georgia, Jerry and Baylee; and sister, Caroline Dominquez.
All services were private with Kepner Funeral Home and memorial contributions can be made to the Ohio County Animal Shelter.
