She was born on June 19, 1928, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Foster and Martha Anna Dinch Scott.
Beatrice was a retired Clerk for Valley Camp Coal Store, Triadelphia, WV, and a Christian by faith.
She was known as Granny and Petey. She loved to fish, coon hunt, dig for roots, and spending her summers fishing at Piedmont Lake on her houseboat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Riggle; son, Richard P. Riggle; son, William L. Riggle; and daughter, Pauline Riggle Henderson.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Sarah Stahl; eight grandchildren, Brad Stahl, Lisa Stahl, Dennis Henderson, Amy Minch, Paul Riggle, Penny Hilligoss, Carrie Bennington, and Jay Paul Riggle; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 11 AM until the time of service at 2 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) with Reverend Bruce Graff officiating. Interment will follow the service in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.
