Sarah Ice Obituary
The late Dennis F and Donna Freed Pariseau adopted Sarah and 3 of her siblings in 1972. Sarah continued to reside in Wellston, Ohio with her very large and diverse family of 14+ siblings, and graduated from Wellston High School in 1981.
Sarah is preceded in death by her daughter Starla Marie Ice Hargitay of Wheeling West Virginia; brothers, Ernest Eugene Pariseau (adoptive) of Columbus Ohio and William Royce Houston (biological) of Wooster Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her nieces, Amanda Foster Pariseau and Michelle Pariseau, both of Wilmington Ohio.
Sarah is survived by her biological siblings, Matthew (Melissa) Pariseau of Wilmington Ohio, Jonathan (Kimberly) Pariseau of Portsmouth Ohio, Mark (Donna) Pariseau of Wilmington Ohio and Jodi (Brad) Scopack of Hermitage Pennsylvania. Sarah is also survived by her grandchildren, Gracie Hargitay, Lilli Hargitay and Brittlynne Hargitay Roy, as well as 14+ adoptive siblings ranging from the ages of 68 to 41. She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well.
Sarah spent the last few years of her life at the Peterson Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wheeling, West Virginia. Not only was she a loving mother but also a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. Sarah was a fierce protector of her siblings and an advocate for pets, especially cats.
In accordance with Sarah's wishes, there will be no services.
