Jannie Lucille Richardson

Jannie Lucille Richardson, age 71, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Sunday (November 23, 2025) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital surrounded by her family. Born February 21, 1954 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George Perry Richardson and Earlene Boyd Strouth. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed gaming and shopping, but her greatest joys were spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Benny Richardson, and brother-in-law, Kenny Brown.

Survivors include her children, John Johnson and Rhonda Flores both of Honaker, Tina Climer and husband, Jimmy of Columbus, Ohio, and Randi Perry and husband, Jon of Jewell Ridge; adoptive daughter, Nikki Baldwin; adoptive son, Garry Deskins; grandchildren, Samantha, Eric, Breanna, Amber, Rayne, Tori, Gabby, Gracelyn, Xander, Joseph, and Ryan; adoptive grandchildren, Zaylee, Emberlee, Conner, and Brylee; life long best friend, Becky Shamblin; siblings, Larry, Harry, Connie, Carol, Patsy, Banna, and Karen; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Randall Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Richardson Cemetery at Swords Creek, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Woody Bowman, Bryan Jimenez, Cody Blackwell, Garry Deskins, Jon Perry, and Jimmy Climer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Joseph Perry, Ryan Perry, Iytas Jimenez, Jamari Pendleton, Conner Bowman, and Xander Ball.

The family will receive friends from 11 am -12 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
