Jared Kyle Monroe, age 29, peacefully passed away on March 3, 2023 at his home in Parowan, UT surrounded by family after a short illness. Jared was born on August 8, 1993 in Hemet, CA to Deric Kyle and Jackie Hunter Monroe. Jared moved to Parowan, UT as a young toddler and attended all the schools there, graduating from Parowan High School. Jared was a very quiet and shy child. He was always super loving and caring. He loved his family and close friends. His sister Kristie held a special place in his heart. He loved to play video games, and especially play Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card games.
Jared had a very extensive group of friends whom he enjoyed spending time with. He was always willing to lend a listening and encouraging ear. Jared has a very gentle and sweet soul and will be sorely missed by many.
Jared was preceded in death by his mother Jackie Hunter Monroe; grandparents: Dixon M. and JoeAnn Orton Hunter and Kenton Lyle and Ruth Ann Fedji Monroe; and one of his best friends, Dillon Stein.
He is survived by his father Deric Kyle Monroe, his half-brother Brandon James Monroe, half-sister Kristie Michelle (Brian) Hammond, his nephew Parker Lee Hammond, and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Parowan 3rd and 4th Ward building (90 South Main Street, Parowan, UT 84761). A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church building just prior to services. Interment will be at the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of Heartlight Affordable Funeral Services.
The family wants to thank the St George Regional Medical Center ICU for their loving support and care.
