Jared Moser Obituary
Jared was born October 3, 1977, in Topeka to Bradley and Alice Sheehan Moser. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1996 and earned his degree from Washburn University.
Jared was employed by a company that delivered expert nursing care to individuals residing in nursing homes. He found fulfillment in his work and took pride in what he did. He had a passion for animals. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jared worked at Helping Hands Humane Society. Jared was exceptionally intelligent; his passion for technology was displayed in every aspect of his life by continuously staying updated with the latest gadgets. He was the go-to person for his family when it came to tech support, always ready to lend a helping hand. His hobbies included hiking and camping in Colorado.
Survivors include his father, Bradley C. Moser; his brother, Brandon and his fiancé Marita Ortiz, and their son, Beau Moser. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, great-aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
Jared was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Sheehan Moser, and grandparents, Benjamin and Maureen Moser and James and Dorothy Sheehan.
Visitation will be Friday, March 22, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. A graveside service will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be to Valeo Recovery Center, sent in care of the funeral home.

His family's love for him will last forever, comforted by the fact that he has now found peace.

I´ll always remember Jared´s wits, kindness, drive, and passion to help others! He spoke eloquently; I remember telling him he had the most calming voice. Jared also had the best smile and heart!

Jared was incredibly intelligent! He was also heavily involved and influential in the Washburn Psychology Department. I looked up to his drive and psych knowledge. I´ll always remember him as a kind, caring person who spoke eloquently and with love!

Jared, myself, and other Washburn Psychology friends regularly went to the Burger Stand on Monday nights where we enjoyed intellectual conversations about all things psych and also shared lots of laughs there!
