I met Jared at FSY in 2022. He was really energetic and outgoing.
I was thinking about him. I think about the people I´ve lost often.
His death came especially hard to me even though I didn´t know him very well.
He liked bowling. When he died, it left me a lot of questions Which I would pose to my seminary teachers or other people at church about what might happen to him Now that he´s dead.
I remember, I would always call him Sherman. It was a fun nickname
I told A friend about Jared When I went to FSY 2023. We said a prayer Asking for Jared to know that people still think of him and love him and to help him now that he´s in the afterlife. We were bowling at the bowling alley at BYU Wilkinson center. After the prayer, on a whim, this friend said that he wanted to dedicate the next delivery (throw of the ball) to The memory of Jared.
This friend was a terrible bowler, After he said that, he got a perfect strike.
Maybe it sounds weird to think that this was God´s hand letting us know that he´ll take care of Jared, but that´s what I believe.

I know it´s been a while since his passing, But I just wanted to share this, and offer my condolences to his family. We´ll see him again. It might take a little while though.

I met Jared in 8th grade. He was my first close friend i had in a really long time. I would always bring him to seminary with a bunch of people and he was really funny. My favorite thing we ever did was go to seminary and we had a sub. next thing i know were both like "i dont like this anymore" so we booked it out of seminary together and hung out during the period. Not the best thing to do but now that hes gone I would do it all over again just to be with him again. We even had our own handshake we would do when we saw each other.

I have been friends with Jared since 7th grade he was in a grade above me. I just found out today that he passed and I'm so sorry to his family. He was an amazing guy and funny. I'm going to miss him a lot. It's so weird that he isn't here anymore. We didn't talk really once he went to high school. It just sucks that he isn't here anymore. On of the best memories is when we went to the mall with two of our other friends I was the youngest one there. I'm pretty sure we all shared Chinese food at the mall. We also got boba. We hung out at the mall a lot. He was the best!!!

I met jared this year in stand. He was super sweet to me and told me everything. He loved to sing karaoke and dance. He even like to climb things at the park and run around.

I just met Jared this year, he was so positive & sweet. He always made kind gestures towards me & made sure everyone was doing okay. I have some great memories of him. One of my favorites was "Anything But a Backpack" day at school, he showed up with a Winco shopping cart & a six-pound bag of peach rings to share with all of his friends. I'll miss him so much. <3

I met Jared in 7th grade. I have so many funny, amazing memories with him. One of my favorite memories was going on the train and getting stuck for an hour in slc and then having the train pass our stop. I miss him so much.
