BOARDMAN-Jasmine "Jazz" Mae Steffey, 33, of Boardman, Ohio, passed away peacefully, February 16, 2026, after an extended illness.

Born March 9, 1992, in Canton, Ohio, to Greg and Hope Steffey. She attended Perry Local through the 4th grade. Jasmine enjoyed playing softball, Girl Scouts and PJ parties with her friends. She attended Salem City Schools where she was a member of the Queen's Court, graduating in 2010.

Jasmine began working for Salem Hills Golf Course at the age of 15. She made many great memories and friends as it became her second home. She often worked two jobs brightening each customer's day with her smile. She enjoyed all things Pokémon, calligraphy, Legos and spoiling her beloved cat "Griffin."

Jasmine is survived by her parents, Greg and Hope Steffey of Boardman, grandparents, James and Darlene Steffey of Minerva, sister, Casi Marie, nieces, Zandria Mae and Violet, nephew, Xavri, all of Canton, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth Miller and Rachael (Richard) Holland, and an aunt, Kendra Lock.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Jasmine's memorial and celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation care is being handled by Stark Memorial Funeral Home in Salem.
