Jason Abarca Obituary
Jason Diego Abarca, born on March 9, 2004 at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville MD passed away on December 13, 2023 in Star Tannery, VA.
Survived by his Mother Jennifer Soto, Stepfather Benito Soto, Father Rafael Abarca, Brothers, Mykul Platt, Kristopher Platt, Adrian Platt, sister Karina Abarca. His Grandparents Don and Gwen Platt and Santos Abarca and Maria Abarca.
Jason grew up in Montgomery county Maryland in Silver Spring and Germantown. His family moved to Hagerstown, MD in October 2023.
Jason loved sports and was very good at football, track, basketball and wrestling. His hobbies were playing Xbox with his brothers and going to the gym. He worked full time at Rainforest Distributions in Frederick MD for the past year and a half in the past warehouse. Jason had plans to join the Army like his Brother Captain Korey Platt who passed away in May 2023. He had already spoken with a recruiter and scored well on the ASVAB. Jason's death was very unexpected and tragic and our family was still mourning the death of his Brother Korey and Jason was suffering with depression from that as well.
Please pray for our family and that Jason may rest in peace with his Brother Korey now.
