JJ was a fun loving boy, enjoying being outside with his friends, boating with his family, dirt biking, bicycling with his friends, ice cream and expensive food.
JJ is survived by his parents Jason and Robin (Frei) Gillesheimer, his siblings Angela and Franco, his grandparents Robert and Jeanette Frei and James and Arlene Gillesheimer, along with his Aunts, Uncles and cousins. JJ was predeceased by his cousin Matthew Joseph Frei.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 pm on Wednesday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am on Thursday, at the St. Anthony's Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Ave., Hawthorne, NJ.
Entombment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations in JJ's memory can be made to Tomorrows Children's Fund, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601.

We are deeply saddened to hear about JJ. Always remember the great "joy" he brought to my sister Joyce & Fred. You both will be held in our prayers.
