Jason Golden

Jason Golden, a beloved member of the Lincoln County, Tennessee community, passed away on March 7, 2025. A man of immense warmth, humor, and generosity, Jason touched the lives of countless people through his professional career, passion for the outdoors, and dedication to youth sports.
Born and raised in Lincoln County, Jason attended Martin Methodist College on a baseball scholarship before earning a degree in Business Administration and Management from Middle Tennessee State University. His early career took him across the country as a Utility Data Analyst for UAI Inc. of Huntsville, AL. However, Jason's heart always belonged to Tennessee, and he soon settled in Fayetteville, where he built a successful career as Vice President at First National Bank. In both his professional and personal life, Jason was known for his integrity, leadership, and unwavering kindness-always ready to lend a helping hand.
An avid outdoorsman, Jason had a deep love for duck hunting and dog training, spending many cherished hours in the fields and waterways of Tennessee. His passion extended to youth sports, where he was a respected and inspiring coach and fan, shaping the lives of many young athletes with his wisdom, patience, and encouragement.
Above all, Jason treasured his family and the land that shaped him-his beloved Golden Hollow. No matter where life took him, his heart always led him back to the place he called home.
He is survived by his children, Luke Golden and Maris Golden; his mother, Angelia Cannon of Flintville, TN; his father, Stan (Lori) Golden of Fayetteville, TN; his sister, April Golden of Flintville, TN; his brother, Ryan Golden of Nashville, TN. He is also remembered by his former wife, Ginny Golden, as well as countless friends, throughout the country. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tom Cannon for whom he cared for dearly.
Jason Golden's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community. His impact will be felt for generations to come.
A life celebration will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Fayetteville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Tim Smith and Pastor Seth Philbrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Kelso Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
