Jason William Hargett passed away on September 2, 2025, in Salem, Utah at the age of 51. He was born on July 21, 1974, in Atwater, California to parents Jerry and Janet Hargett.

Jason spent most of his life working in the restaurant industry and co-owned Ruby River Steakhouse with his brother, Brandon.
