Jason J. Hill of Aurora, IL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 31, 2025 in Wisconsin. He was 46 years old. Jason was a graduate of West Aurora High School and DeVry University. He loved his family fiercely and was a great husband, father, son, brother, grandson and nephew who will be deeply missed. Jason was blessed to live his dream of spending a lot of time in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Minnesota, where he spent countless days fishing, boating, hunting and enjoying the outdoors. Jason loved gathering with his family and friends, where his laughter, warmth and incredible grilling always brought people together. He had a big heart and was truly the cornerstone of his family and extended family, the one everyone could count on for love, strength, and support. His passion for the simple joys of life-family dinners, campfires, hunting trips and time on the water-created memories that will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mariana (Ponce), 2 sons Julian and James. He also leaves behind his parents Jane (Greg) Meyer, his sisters Jessica (Francisco) Rodriguez and Amanda (Matt) Schuster, and his brother Jimmy (Shermeen) Hill, He will be deeply missed by his grandmother, Phyllis Weistroffer, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Maria and Jesus Ponce. his brothers-in-laws, Jesus (Cynthia) Ponce, Jorge Ponce and Joel (Ariana) Ponce and sisters-in-laws Maria (Mike) Ponce-Khoury and Maribel Ponce. Jason was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews including Gino and Stanley Rodriguez, Kayla, Abri, Jerry Hill, Jackson and Carly Schuster, Alex Ponce, Diana (Billy) Czech, Bella Ponce, Natalia Ponce, Emilia Ponce, Elena Khoury and George Khoury, and proud great-uncle to Kingston Harding, Luka Czech and Patrick Czech. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins and his loyal dog, Tucker. Jason was preceded in death by his father, James E. Hill, his grandparents Eugene and Joan Hill and Gerald Weistroffer, and his Uncle Jim Lincer.
