Jason Josephs, 46, unexpectedly passed away on November 5, 2022. Jason was a wonderful and loving husband to wife, Kimberly for 19 years. He was the best father a child could ask for and is survived by daughter, Jennifer and son, Michael. He also adored the family cat, Whizzy. Jason was also a wonderful son, brother, and uncle and is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Grace Josephs and his sister, Joeleen Pedley, all of Pittsburgh, PA; and niece, Madison Pedley.
A native of Pittsburgh, Jason worked as a Production Planner for McKesson Automation for many years before relocating to North Carolina for sunnier weather. Jason had the wonderful opportunity to be a full time Dad over the last five years. He recently began work at Synergy Steel and was beginning to happily settle into his new role there. Jason was a huge Star Wars fan and loved moved movies of all kinds. His passion was his alma mater Penn State football, being outdoors landscaping, having fire pits, and making trails in his woods.
Over the last few years, Jason became a man of God and his family joined Siler Presbyterian Church. Jason loved his church so much that he began to participate in the Every Man a Warrior discipleship program. He then went on to teach and mentor other men of the church. Jason was a strong family man and positively influenced many others around him. Jason served as a Property Deacon for Siler for the last two years.
A Celebration of Jason's Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13th at Siler Presbyterian Church, 6301 Weddington Rd, Matthews, NC 28104. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Josephs Family Go Fund Me page, the link is https://www.gofundme.com/f/josephs-family-contribution
