Jason Michael Maxwell

Jason Michael Maxwell, 47, Peru, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his residence. 

Born June 26, 1977, in Logansport, Indiana, he was the son of Dave Maxwell and Connie M. (Jones) Doran. 

 Jason was a 1995 graduate of Logansport High School. He worked for several years at Smithfield in Peru. He enjoyed spending time at a beach, disc golfing, collecting shoes, golfing, going to concerts, and singing with his daughters. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children. He had his two best friends, his canine companions, Ace and Lucky, and he loved taking them to the park with his kids. 

He is survived by his children, Brooklynn Marie Maxwell, Peru; Bella Grace Maxwell, Peru; and Dylan Young, Florida; father, Dave Maxwell, Delphi; mother, Connie M. Doran, Royal Center; one brother, Jeremy (Stephanie)Maxwell, Lafayette; nephew, Justin Maxwell, Lafayette; Dakoda Maxwell, Peru; and Erika (Jesse) Couch, Kokomo; and great-nephews, Jaxton Maxwell, Rossville; and Jayce Couch, Kokomo; great-niece, Sophie Hancock, Rossville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a step-daughter, Halle Shirrell. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents. 

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made through the funeral home to help offset expenses.
