Jason A. Medsker, 44, a lifelong resident of Cherryvale, beloved son, brother and father died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Neodesha Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 6, 1980 in Chanute to Eugene Floyd Medsker (deceased) and Leila K. (Winn) Medsker Hale .Uniting with Melinda Renae Cannon Matlock, sharing a child Matthew Cannon together, they remained good friends.
He enjoyed fishing, loud music and working on cars. He would always lend a helping hand to those he cared about.He worked for Cobalt and he also worked locally recycling heavy machinery.
Survivors include Leila Hale, mother: child Matthew Cannon, Alma, Arkansas: brother, Matt Medsker and niece, Ashley Haslett, Neodesha. Nieces, cousins, neighbors, classmates, fishermen and fellow shade tree mechanics all held a special place in his heart.
A remembrance service will be held at a later date.
