Eunice Nell Medsker, a loving homemaker and a beacon of warmth, was born on November 17, 1938, in, Indianapolis, Indiana. She passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, in the city she loved dearly. Eunice's life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to family, a nurturing spirit, and an infectious laughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Eunice embraced the role of a devoted homemaker, pouring her heart into her cherished family. Her legacy of love is carried on by her beloved children: Deanna (Chris Paulsen) Medsker, Cheryl (Philip) Taylor, and Scott (Michelle) Medsker. Each memory they share is woven with her guidance and affection, reflecting the nurturing nature that defined her. Eunice is also survived by her sister Mary Thurman.

Eunice found joy in countless hobbies and interests, often bringing family and friends together. Whether it was catching fish, gathering for cards or poker nights, delighting in bowling, or sharing laughter on the dance floor, Eunice created treasured memories that will forever be held close in the hearts of her family. She loved baking cakes, engaging in Sahara Grotto Activities, and enjoyed watching Jeopardy. A special fondness for bananas and Graham crackers sweetened her days and brightened those around her.

Her bond with her grandchildren—Adrienne Taylor, Robert "Luke" Taylor, Robert Medsker, and Haley (Devon) Higdon—was a source of immense pride and joy. Each moment spent with them was a celebration of life, laughter, and learning, and Eunice's influence will continue to guide them as they carry forward her spirit.

Eunice was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Medsker, who remained her cherished partner throughout life’s journey. She also joins in eternal rest with her siblings Marta Rutherford, Willa Medsker, and Ronald Rutherford. They, along with her husband, welcomed her home with open arms.

Eunice's life will be honored with a visitation on October 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN. She will then be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, with the burial taking place at 2:30 PM.

Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion, joyful moments, and cherished family ties that will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
