Jason Everett Myer

Jason Everett Myer Age 49, of Weyerhaeuser, WI, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in Rice Lake, WI. He was born on May 6, 1975 in Rice Lake to Gary Gavin and Dorothy Nedrow. Jason was a mechanic since he was 14, a laborer at Jennie-O, construction worker, worked at a cheese factory and loved being a dairy farmer. He was married to Sheyla Salisbury July 7, 2003 in Barron County, WI. He loved working on cars and lawnmowers, enjoyed being a mechanic, his birds - parakeets, chickens and turkeys, gardening, camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Sheyla Salisbury-Myer; 4 children, Bridgett (Tyler) Czekalski, Tyler Salisbury (Kira Hansen), Dezire Salisbury (Aron Fennell) and William Salisbury; 3 grandchildren, Reily, Logan and Evelyn; his father, Gary Gavin; his stepfather, Arnold "Corky" Osborne; a brother, Dan Myer; several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Osborne. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, December 16, 2024 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, Rev. Jeff Martin officiating, with interment in the Faaberg Cemetery in Cameron, WI. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral services.
