Devoted father, brother and friend
Jason Lynn Proffitt, 48, passed away Saturday March 16, 2024 at his home in Payson Utah. Jason was born in Provo Utah on November 24,1975 to Gary Seamons and Cynthia Proffitt and later adopted by John W. Proffitt.
He was a master welder that was sought out across the country. To further his education he attended Career College of Northern Nevada.
Jason was so thoughtful, very intelligent, funny, creative, a hard worker, and fun to be around. He lived life to the fullest. When he was younger he was an adrenaline seeker and he was always seeking his next adventure. As time led on he developed a more serious thrive on furthering his education as well as seeking further self-improvement, all the while taking care of the needs of the people around him.
Jason loved spending time with family and friends, working out, knitting hats and blankets, making cakes but most of all, he loved his children with all of his heart. He tried very hard to do his best and to walk with God. He had the biggest heart and would drop anything for his loved ones.
Jason is survived by his children Tyler, Morgan, Jasmine, and Alexee; his grandchild Marian; parents John and Cindy Proffitt; siblings Eric, Gary, John, Aaron, Bonnie, Adam, Charles, Sarah, Julie, Nick and their families, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
