Jason Rodriguez Obituary

"J-Rod"

Jason Rodriguez

February 26, 1981 - May 21, 2010 Jason Rodriguez, a prominent artist, known by all as J-Rod, left us on the twenty-first day of May 2010.

J-Rod was an amazing friend, loving brother and adored son. He lived life wide open as a brilliant rock star, philosopher and lover. Born in Texas, where he spent his childhood enjoying the country life. Later, as a young teen, moved with his family to Darmstadt Germany, where he picked up skateboarding and became immersed into the art world. His talent was nurtured as he grew more reknown. During 1998, he moved back to the United States, spending his time between Florida and Virginia. Occupationally he was a tattoo artist noted for his use of brilliant colors and custom pieces. People handed Jason their most significant life experiences and emotions to watch him turn it into a work of art using poetry, music and illustration.

Jason celebrated life with an easygoing spirit; always doing his best to care for others. Words seem inadequate to express our condolences, as his light will shine on forever.

A memorial service will be held on the 26th day of June 2010 in Lake Ridge, Virginia. Info updates & guest signing: Facebook.com/pages/Jason-Rodriguez-Memorial /119381164768015?ref=ts

I feel very privileged to have meet and known Jason for the brief period I did. I met him a few months before he moved to Orlando and was able to get some amazing pieces of his genius on my arm. Now that it's spring and I'm in short sleeves the questions and compliment roll in. You were an amazing artist and a really great person. You left your mark on a ton of people, you will be missed bro.
