Jason Schroder, age 54, of West Bend, Wisconsin, was called home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2025, at Kathy's Hospice surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Jason was born on April 9, 1970, in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Elroy Schroeder and Sandra (Westphal) Schroeder. From a very young age, Jason worked alongside his father doing screen printing. Years later he started his own screen-printing business, The Branding Hunter.
Jason was an avid hunter and fisherman. The woods and the water were always his sanctuary. He was a part of many Prostaff teams including Badlands, Buckstik, Dirtnap, Raxx, Midwest Racks and Rods and many more. Jason was also passionate about working as much as he could with his friend, Brad Heath, on his licensed deer farm, Orion Whitetails, a member of Whitetails of Wisconsin. Jason loved life but more than anything, and most importantly, he loved being with his grandsons, Azariah and Malachi.
Those Jason leaves behind to forever cherish his memory include his daughter and best friend, Shacari; son-in-law, Caesar Montoya; grandsons, Azariah and Malachi; stepson, Kelvin; brother, Sheldon (Lisa); nephews, Michael (Kelsey) and Nicholas (Kaitlynn); great-nieces, Emma, Jordan, and Aria; great-nephew, Hunter.
Jason is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dawn; father, Elroy; brothers, Jeffery and Steven; and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 5, 2025, at Glacier Hills Hall 1664 Friess Lake Rd, Hubertus, WI 53033
