Jason Lee Secrest, 55 of Branson, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2025 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
Jason was born on May 22, 1970 in Branson, MO to Billy Lee Secrest and Mary Lou (Prewitt) Secrest. He grew up and spent his life, making his home in the Bull Creek area of Branson.
He attended Branson schools and as a young man began his family and worked in various skilled trades. He finished concrete with Duffy Concrete, and traveled across the United States working with BNSF Railway and painting water towers.
Jason loved anything with a small motor and tinkering on all types of vehicles. He enjoyed hot rods, racecars, motorcycles, trucks and cars. Going to concerts, listening to music and being outdoors fishing were other favorite pastimes. Above all he loved his family especially his kids and grandkids and his mom and grandma who loved him beyond measure and took great care in raising him.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Mary Lou; his grandmother, Mae Prewitt; and his brother, Efton Secrest.
He was loved and will be missed by his children, Debra Secrest of Hume, MO and Tracey & wife Ashley Secrest of Springfield; along with his three grandchildren, Brian, Janessa and Brendon and his newest grandson to arrive in December.
The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date. Cremation arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
