Jason Lamar Stanley, age 51, of Dalton, GA passed from this life on May 29, 2023, at Hamilton Medical Center. Born November 1, 1971, in Dalton, GA to parents Jerry L. Stanley and Kaye C. Stanley, he was loved as a son, brother, uncle, brother-in law, friend, and co-worker. Some of his passions included music, playing guitar, writing stories, reading books, and following Georgia football. He supported several charities with his generosity with a big heart for animal rescue. Though he was often known for his tough exterior his friends and family had the privilege to know him as a compassionate and loyal friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Kaye Stanley. He is survived by his partner, Christiane De Foisy; her daughter, Ashley Foisy Mengoni; son-in-law, James Michael Davis; grandchildren, Paislee Mae Davis and Vida Tracy Davis of Saint John, WA; his brother, Stewart Stanley; sister-in-law, Cynthia Stanley; nephews, Henry Stanley, John Stanley, and Sam Stanley; and, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services for Jason Stanley will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Georgia (P. O. Box 3946, Dalton, GA 30719).
