It is with deep sorrow that we announce that passing of Jason "Jay" Thompson, 42 of Sharon, PA, on November 15, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with complications of kidney failure.
Jason was a beloved son, brother, nephew, boyfriend, and friend to everyone he knew. His smile and kindness has left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Jason Matthew Thompson was born on June 4, 1982, in Sharon, PA to Randall and Tracy (Mcdonald) Thompson.
Jason was a former employee at Shop and Save and Regenex until his kidneys failed in 2018. Despite all Jason endured he never complained and never lost that smile.
He is survived by his father Randall Thompson, Sister, Tiffany a Brother Ross. Grandfathers; Sidney (Buddy) Mcdonald and Morris Thompson. Niece Delaney Thompson and Nephew Atticus Runyan. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his loving girlfriend, Tessa Weibush of Alliance Ohio.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Tracy, Grandmothers; Alberta Mcdonald and Jessie Ruth Thompson. Nieces; Harper and Za' Ryah.
Jason was a big teddy bear, always so kind and thoughtful, with a very gentle soul. He loved Nascar, the Pittsburgh Steelers, LSU, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Guardians, and Pittsburgh Penguins. He liked diesel engines, fast cars, trucks and tractor pulls. He always enjoyed family vacations at Hilton Head Island, Mississippi, and attending the semi-truck show with his beloved uncle "Sid" in Kentucky.
Jason will forever be remembered for his big smile that could brighten anyone's day. He leaves a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew him.
