I had the lucky privilege of knowing Jason the majority of my life. We met in school at Trinity Episcopal, as his mother was my fourth grade teacher! Our friendship grew through our shared love of orchestra, music, and the beloved garage band. I would support his works over the years, and ask him numerous tips on writing (when I wanted to try), with him of course humbly offering to read anything I ever produced. Everything you ever thought or remembered about him just produced a happy and genuine smile. Although I have never met you Sheila, or your adorable son Oliver, I feel as though I followed your incredible journey online through photos. His happiness in your shared life beamed easily through each new post. May the Lord truly bless you, and keep you in this difficult and trying time.

I had the privilege of playing a small role in the care for Jason the last couple months and am grateful for the opportunity. He was a pleasure and always talked about his family. He will be deeply missed.
