Jason Samuel Truscott was born on January 6, 2009 to his parents Evan Truscott and Dana Jones Truscott. He grew up in Springville, Utah. Jason enjoyed video games, hanging out with his friends, camping with his cousins, and participating in the many large Jones family gatherings. He loved it when his older siblings came to visit. As the “baby” of the family, he was the center of banter and sibling rivalry.
Jason was in the 9th grade at Springville Jr. High School. Jason loved his band teacher Mr. Booth. He started playing the trumpet in the 7th grade, and later “upgraded” to his first choice, the trombone.
Jason passed away in his home on the evening of Sunday, December 10, 2023. He is survived by his parents, Evan and Dana, his siblings Marc, Ashley, and Tyler, grandparents Marilyn Jones, Jan Truscott, and Alice Stryker, Uncle Derek Truscott, many Jones aunts and uncles, and more cousins on both sides than we can count (46). He is so loved and he will be dearly missed.
Internment will be in the Springville Historic Cemetery.
