Jason Melven Webb

August 20, 1976 - November 5, 2025

Jason Melven Webb, age 49, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with multiple chronic illnesses. With characteristic bravery, Jason faced his suffering with acceptance and made a deeply personal decision to spare his family further burden. His love for his family was unwavering, and his devotion was evident in every conversation and action.

Jason loved to share his knowledge and passions with others, often engaging in long talks with his family and friends about subjects he found fascinating - astronomy, sports, nature, and mechanics among them. He especially admired athletes such as Nolan Ryan and Bo Jackson and enjoyed discussing their careers and achievements. Jason had the "gift of gab," able to talk with anyone about nearly anything, and never met a stranger.

A man of many talents, Jason worked in several trades throughout his life, including as a bowling equipment mechanic, electrician, auto mechanic, and auto body painter. His hands were rarely idle, and his craftsmanship was marked by pride and precision.

A gifted athlete, Jason especially excelled in bowling, earning multiple perfect 300 games and championship titles. Out of deep respect for the sport, he chose to retire when his health began to decline. His athleticism also extended to football, basketball, baseball, and golf, where he was once scouted by various recruiting organizations.

Jason is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Stephanie Webb; his four children, Kristy, Klaytin, Kayne, and Kyrbie; a granddaughter, Harper; and his stepmother, Shirley Webb. He is also survived by his in-laws, Gordon and Melanie Dotson, and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Webb, and his mother, Connie Melven Webb Quebedeaux.

Jason's cremains will rest at the family home until the time comes for him to be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Stephanie.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to share in his life and conversation.
