Jasper Waling "J. W." Parker, Jr. 79, passed away on Sunday March 1st, 2026, at his home in Weatherford. He was born on August 13, 1946, in Fort Worth to Jasper and Virgie Parker.

J.W., as he was well known, was very involved with the Boy Scouts Troop #353. He was also very involved with and enjoyed the community and residents of Windsor Village playing bingo, having bible study, movies and having game night. He also enjoyed attending the "Cowboy Churches" in the Granbury and Weatherford area. J.W. had a passion for taking care of his flowers and taking care of his beloved pup Rusty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by four siblings.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Linda Parker; children Lisa Eads and husband Larry, Cherry West and husband Larry, Carrie Parker, and Aaron Parker and wife Christina; nine grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren; two sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm. Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm. Friday, March 6th, 2026, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury with graveside services and burial following at Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Granbury.
