Wade Riddle

Dennis "Wade" Riddle, 71, a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loving brother, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 23, 2026, at his home in Bluffdale, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Betty Dean Riddle, and by his brother, Johnny Riddle, whom he deeply loved.

Visitation will be held from Noon until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Long Creek Cemetery.

Wade was born on June 8, 1954, and lived a life full of adventure, curiosity, and deep love for his family. He found great joy in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, passions that stayed with him throughout his life. A true world traveler, Wade proudly fished waters from Africa to Alaska, always returning home with stories to share. Above all else, Wade treasured time spent with his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and nothing made him happier than being surrounded by them, sharing laughs, memories, and simple moments that meant the most.

Wade is survived by his children, Dixie and her husband Eddie Sikes, Lucie Warfield, and Taylor Riddle; his cherished grandchildren, Porter and Lainey Sikes, Asher and Zeke Warfield, and Analiese and Valeria Riddle; and his siblings, Rusty Riddle and Rita Benson. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
