Jay Graham, age 60 of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church in Gatesville, followed by a family fellowship and visitation in the fellowship hall at the church.
Jason Paul Graham was born on September 16, 1963 in Gatesville, Texas to Charles and Linda Dorsey Graham. He grew up in Gatesville and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1982. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Jay was a long-term employee for Huckabee Inc., providing construction oversight for the building of many schools across Texas. Jay loved taking care of his cattle while accompanied by his trusty dog, Ruby. He enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events, music recitals, fishing trips, and spending time at family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Graham.
Jay is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Damon and wife Jennifer; Jared, and Jackson; daughter, Ava; eleven grandchildren; father, Charles Graham; sister, Lisbeth Appelman and husband, Todd, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Christian Counseling Education Foundation or Desiring God Ministries.
