Jay K. Guinan

Jay K. Guinan, aged 61, passed away peacefully in his home state of Virginia on June 23, 2025. Born on November 10, 1963, Jay lived a life full of humor and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jay dedicated many years of his professional life to ensuring safety and quality in his role as a Quality Control Inspector, specializing in water towers across the country. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every project he undertook.
Outside of work, Jay was an avid sports enthusiast. He found great joy in watching baseball and both playing and watching golf. His love for these pastimes brought him closer to friends and family, creating cherished memories on and off the field or course.
Jay was known for his funny, outgoing nature and his ability to make people laugh. He had a unique talent for brightening any room with his presence, leaving lasting smiles and fond memories in his wake.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Spud and Patricia Guinan; sister, Lori Barboza; and brother, Scott Guinan. Jay is survived by his sister, Patricia Miskill, alongside her husband Mike; his brothers, Mike Guinan and Jeff Guinan; and his several nieces and one nephew, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
