It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jay Linder on September 25, 2025. Jay was a beloved son, cherished by his parents, Loren & Deborah (Dickman) Linder from his birth on October 1, 1982. His kind spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Jay graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 2001. He continued his education at Bowling Green State University where he received his bachelors degree in Visual Communications and Marketing. He was currently working construction.
Above all Jay was a loving and devoted son and grandson. He made friends with everyone easily as he was, to his core, a kind and loyal person. He loved to be outdoors and was a Cleveland Guardians, Browns and Ohio State University fan. He was also liked to watch Forrest Gump and John Candy Movies.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Loren & Deborah Linder of Fremont; uncle, Mark Dickman of Cleveland; cousins, Danielle (Ryan) Fishley of Lakewood and Nathan Dickman of Fremont; and many friends including Aaron Autullo and Matt Ranker.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard & Jean Dickman and Willis & Dorothy Linder.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 2nd at St. Joseph Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 AM with an hour of visitation held prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
