Obituary of Jay Stark
Jay Stuart Stark passed away on Saturday evening, May 10, 2025, at the age of 78 after bravely battling illness for many years.
Jay was born on November 3, 1946, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Growing up, Jay loved spending time with his family in Cheyenne. He attended the University of Wyoming and joined the Air National Guard in Wyoming as an air medic. Jay lived in several different states before settling in Colorado where he managed several Fashion Bar locations.
He met his wife Debbie on a blind date, and both knew immediately they were destined to be together. They were engaged within 3 weeks, married in 3 months and spent 53 years as soul mates.
Jay was always entrepreneurial, working in real estate, as a stockbroker and owning Selections Boutique as well as Desks Inc. He finally retired around 2017.
He enjoyed cars and fishing and could fix absolutely anything! His courage was admirable. His strength was unbelievable. His fight was unmatched and his reminder to "enjoy life" will always be remembered by those who loved him the most.
Jay had two children, Marty (Brooke) Stark, Ronni Stark (Aaron Lenz) and was "Pops" to five grandchildren-Sidney, Jerzie, Emerson, Kale and Cole-who adored him.
Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Rene Stark and his sister, Sandra Singer.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, 5/13 at 2:30pm, Emanuel Cemetery; Feldman Mortuary YouTube channel;
