Jayesh Shah

Jayesh was one of the kindest and gentlest humans on the planet. His smile lit up the room and his one-line zingers made every conversation memorable. He infused every interaction with so much compassion that every person he met felt as though Jayesh is their best friend.
He grew up in Mumbai where dreams are made and he had a dream to be the first in his family to succeed in higher education. His academic success brought him to the US where he met his love, Sujata. They were blissfully happy for 3 decades, enjoying every moment together, watching their 2 daughters, Rea and Sanaa, grow into confident and grounded adults.
We are so proud of his work ethic, generosity, and ability to build a community. He built a brilliant career through sheer hard work, his generosity gave his brothers' families the support needed to build a strong next generation, and the groups he gathered around him have become self-sustaining communities. His legacy will be felt for generations to come.
The world is a little less bright today because Jayesh is not in it. Or maybe, we can take comfort in knowing that his soul is free of pain and suffering, watching over us and smiling his beautiful kind smile.
A memorial service for Jayesh will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Marietta Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service.
