Jayne Lester Obituary
Jayne was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 4, 1960 to the late Jon and Janice (Lowe) Rigsby. She graduated from Reitz High School. She was a talented artist, enjoyed reading and writing. Jayne loved to spontaneously go on road trips. She was the go to mom to load everyone up and just go where the kids wanted. Jayne loved spending time with family, but her greatest joy came from watching her grandchildren. Jayne will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Jayne is survived by her sons, Stevin Lester (Ashley), Joseph Lester (Haley) and Nathan Lester (Erin) all of Evansville, IN; sister, Jo Niemeier (Mark); brothers, Jon Rigsby III (Mary), Jay Rigsby (Laura), and Jan Rigsby (Margarita); grandchildren, Ava, Aubree, Shay, Bree, Khalie and Julian; the father of her children, Toy Lester; and many nieces and nephews.
Jayne was preceded in death by her parents and lifelong friend, Donald Murfin.
A celebration of Jayne's life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Mark Lloyd officiating.
Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
