Jayson "Jay" Wayne Joubert, 49, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2025, with his wife by his side. Born February 7, 1976, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Jay built a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Jay was a devoted husband to his wife, Mandy - lovingly known as "Pookie" - and a proud father to his son, Kory Joubert, adopted daughter, Emmalynn St. John, and stepdaughter, Allie Engel. He was the cherished son of Charlene Joubert and the late Kenneth Joubert, and is survived by his sister, Jillene, whom he called "Pumpkin." Jay was also the proud grandfather of two grandsons he adored, Graeyson and Oliver.
Known for his big heart, quick wit, and unwavering loyalty, Jay lived life on his own terms. He loved his guns, his truck, and traveling to new places, always ready for the next adventure. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family, whether sharing laughs, telling stories, or simply being together.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
A celebration of Jay's life will be held at a later date, to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor his memory by helping bring awareness to the horrible disease Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) through a donation to the APS Foundation of America at https://apsfa.org/donate/
