Jayson Clarence McPhatter (1957-2025) passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Jayson graduated from trade school with all three trades under his belt, which includes carpentry, brick masonry, and auto mechanics. He then gained a passion for auto mobiles and then process of making them faster.
He later married Winifred and raised a step-son, Jamie. Jayson was known for his quick wit, affection for all animals and unwavering kindness. He loved the outdoors, plants and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Eula McPhatter; brothers, Ernest Jr. and Eugene McPhatter; wife, Winifred McPhatter; daughter, Rachel Ward; and grandsons, Christopher and Joseph Galloway.
Jayson is survived by his son: Torrence; and his grandchildren: Octavia, Torel, Miguel, Gabriel, and LaRachell.
