Jayzek Simmerman

Jayzek Michael Simmerman, 22, of Witter; passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Gravette; to James Simmerman and Sonya Wilson.
Jayzek graduated from Elkins High School and worked as an electrician at Mars Electric. He loved music festivals and being surrounded by his friends. Jayzek was often the life of the party, funny, and loved to joke around, but he was also competitive and serious about his passions, like fishing and playing baseball. Known for his caring nature and huge heart, Jayzek was loyal and stood up for what he felt was right. He loved his friends and family, and his absence will be felt by many who were lucky enough to have known him.
Jayzek was preceded in death by one grandfather, Kenneth Barsch; one great-grandmother, June Terrill; and one great-uncle, Bobby Cousins.
He is survived by his parents, James Simmerman and Sonya Wilson, of the home; two brothers, Dillon Simmerman, of Witter; and Logan Stout, of Huntsville; and one sister, Addison Wilson, of Bentonville. He is also survived by his grandparents, Carolyn and Daniel Thomas, of Springdale; and Rhonda Barsch of Rogers; two aunts, Christina Hernandez, of Huntsville; and Andi-K Long Heart, of Bella Vista; two uncles, Skyler Goodson, and Zach Barsch, both of Kansas; and his cousins, Ashley Gonzalez, Alex Hernandez, Aidan Hernandez, Itali Zachary, River Long, and SoulLee Long Heart.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM, with T.J. Bennett officiating. Pallbearers will be Dillon Simmerman, Caleb Carpenter, Rodney Roesch, Michael Henderson, Landyn Sales, Logan Stout, Alex Hernandez, Itali Zachary and Mikey Watkins. Interment will immediately follow services at Ledbetter Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
