LIMA — Jean G. Bucher, 91, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence.
Services will be noon Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Shawnee United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of services.

Memories rush over me of the many things Jean and I did together. One stands out of the hot-air balloon ride we took in 1982. It was her birthday gift to herself. The dinners we shared and the gifts we exchanged. Grief is difficult to bear, but it will ease, leaving an empty spot in your heart that will always be there. Just as the empty spot in my heart for Jean.
My deepest condolences to Jean's family.
