Jean Burnand

Jean Burnand, of Foxboro, passed away after a short illness surrounded by family on August 15th at the age of 75.

Born and raised in Holbrook, MA, Jean later raised her family in Norwood, MA. In retirement, she moved to Lakeland, FL, where she cared for her mother and forged lifelong friendships. After her husband passed away she returned to Foxboro, MA to be close to her children and grandchildren.

Jean will be remembered for her deep love of family, her gift of listening, and her quick sense of humor. Above all, she was proud of her children and 13 grandchildren, and her legacy lives on through them.

She is survived by her brother, William Carew of Lakeland, FL; her children Beth and Gary Campbell of Wrentham, Tracy and Derek James of Wrentham, Billy and Lori Butler of Weymouth, Katelyn Butler and Patrick McNamara of Foxboro, John Burnand of Marshfield, daughter-in-law Marybeth Burnand of Weymouth; and her beloved grandchildren Willy, Maggie, Diane, Jenny, Jackson, Carter, Grace, Sarah, Carolyn, Lily, Liam, Grady, and Cece. She leaves behind a large extended family who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her loving husband, William Burnand; her parents, Peg and Joe Carew; her brother Joe Carew; and her stepson Billy Burnand.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro, Massachusetts. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 10am at St. Mary's, 58 Carpenter St, Foxboro, MA.
