Jean (Rentzheimer) Crenko, 70, a loving mother, devoted Grammy, Great-Grammy, Aunt, cherished sister, and beloved member of the Fountain Hill community, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family. Born on April 28, 1955, in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rose (North) Rentzheimer.
Jean was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Class of 1973. She went on to build a long and meaningful career as an Administrative Assistant at Road and Rail, where she worked for most of her life until retiring.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David Crenko, with whom she shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Jean found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a passionate Phillies and Iron Pigs fan who loved cheering from the stands, especially when surrounded by her family. She enjoyed fishing, beach days, traveling, and any adventure that brought her closer to the people she loved. Her close relationship with her sisters brought her deep comfort and joy-whether reminiscing, traveling, or simply spending time together.
A woman of deep faith, Jean was a devoted member of St. Ursula Catholic Church in Fountain Hill, where she served with great reverence as a Eucharistic Minister.
Jean leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughters, Melissa and her husband Trey of Bethlehem, Gail and her husband Matthew of Colorado, and Elizabeth and her husband Robert of Fountain Hill; her son, Wayne and his wife Sara of Bethlehem; her sisters, Gail Benincasa and Ann Newhall and her husband John; and her adoring grandchildren, Bryce, Kaylen, Bianca, Korey, Alex, Rocco, Riley, Isabella, Isaac, Lucas, and Harrison, as well as her treasured great-grandson, Liam. Each of them felt the depth of Jean's love and the joy she took in their successes and happiness.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM until the time of the Mass in the church. Burial will follow at Green Meadows, Fountain Hill. Jean's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
