Born on April 15, 1930 in Louisa, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Albert and Ella (Pickerall) Elliott. On February 12, 1949 she married Paul H. Fox in Monroe, MI.
Jean was a member of Carleton United Methodist Church. She worked at Airport schools for many years. She was a fabulous mother and grandmother who was just an overall pleasant woman. She had resided in Carleton her whole life.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children, Janice Fox-Davis, Michael Fox, granddaughter, Aleea Burkman, siblings, Helen Fox, Buddy Elliott.
She is survived by her children, Denise Fox, Paul D. (De) Fox, grandchildren, Alicia (Brad) Simpson, Kelly (Scott) Homrich, Bethany Davis, Troy (Kristin) Davis, Stephen Fox, Michael Fox, 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Jung Eun Yum will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
