Jean C. Robertson Hannan, of Midway, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, two days after her 92nd birthday, in her home.
Jean was born on December 11, 1932, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mary A. Benard Robertson.
Mrs. Hannan was a retired clerk at the McDonald GC Murphy's, where she spent 15 years working. Jean was also a member of Center U.P. Church, where she served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years..
Jean loved catching up with her friends in town at the Midway Seniors lunches, she truly enjoyed their group.
In her free time, Jean loved gardening and quilting and spending time in her home.
Surviving is her son Terry Ray Hannan, brother, John A Robertson, and many nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends.
Along with her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Ray Hannan (2015), and siblings, William C Robertson, Henry L "Herk" Robertson, Mary J "Mert" Campbell, Isabelle J Wilson, Alexander L Robertson, and Thomas C Robertson III.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 106 St. John St., Midway (724-796-3301). A Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Robinson Run Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Center U.P. Church, 110 Washington Ave., Midway, PA15060, in memory of Jean.
