Jean M. Holbert

Holbert, Jean M. (Wassiege) of Quincy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 27, 2022.

Jean devoted her life to caring for others. She was selfless beyond measure, caring, loving and a little stubborn. Jean never missed a hockey game, school activity or important events in her children's lives. Her main passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Jean will be remembered as a tough woman with a large heart. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved mother of Master Sergeant First Sergeant Tim Wassiege of Quincy, currently Stationed in Maryland, and Barbara Peeler of Quincy. Loving aunt and second mother of Billy Lynch and his wife Stacy of New Hampshire, Kevin Lynch of Quincy, Michelle Lombardi and her husband Stephen of Quincy. Devoted Nana of Kristin, Ryan, Katelyn, Kerin, Chris, Bella, Derek, Leo, Devin, Jake, and Maya. Cherished daughter of the late Paul and Nora Wassiege. Caring sister of Mary Murray and her husband Fred of Quincy, Paul Wassiege, Jr. of Quincy and the late Claire Lynch. Also survived by many extended family and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 2 to 4 PM at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 4 PM at Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.
