Jean Ann Klug

Jean Ann Klug (née Kleiner), age 88, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. A beloved resident of Springfield Township, Jean was born on June 26, 1937, to the late George and Mary Florence (née Shanley) Kleiner.

Jean was the devoted wife of the late Edward Klug and a loving mother to Linda (Will) Bobinger, Richard (Joyce) Klug, Donald (Kelly) Klug, Lisa (Scott) Guthrie, and Mary (Michael) Spaeth. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Scott (Ashley), Brandon (Megan), Michael (Victoria), Alisha (Patrick), JoAnna (Kenneth), Jacob (Duru), Ryan (Rich), Mariah (Angelo), Madison, Ethan, Edward, Hannah (Alex), Alex (Haley), Kyle, Jessica (Michael), Kaylee, Bradley, Connor, Mason, and the late Adele. She was also a treasured great-grandmother to Alexis, Ashleigh, Peyton, Hailey, Ethan, Liam, Lucas, Landon, Braydon, Jack, Charlie, Jake Ayla, Lucy, Josie, Noelle, Norah and Hadley.

Jean is preceded in death by her brother, George (Martha) Kleiner.

Jean was a devoted member of Corpus Christi Church, where she was deeply involved in parish life and known fondly as a "big shot" among her church community. She also gave her time as a Girl Scout leader, positively impacting many young lives. Jean worked as a banker at Harvest Home Savings, which later became Peoples Bank, where she dedicated many years of service. Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 2014 Springdale Road, on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
