Jean Marie Laudenslager

HALIFAX - Jean Marie Laudenslager, age 85, passed way at home surrounded by the love of her family on September 26, 2025. She was born on August 10, 1940, the daughter of the late James and Esther (Enders) Shoop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Miriam and brother Lynn.
Jean was married to her husband Wayne for 61 years until his passing in 2021.
She is survived by their two sons, Kevin (Deb) and Kirk (Vicki) Laudenslager, who blessed them with 6 loving grandchildren - Lindsey, Alexa (Travis), Brittany (Justin), Bridget (Dewy), Neal (Nicole), Noah (Brooke), and 7 beautiful great grand children - Lilly, Maelee, Ace, Kamber, Ryker, Beau, Nico.
Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and farmer. Her life was full of warmth and light - she folded love into every homemade dish and stitched care into every project she made. She could talk for hours, make friends anywhere, and her laughter would brighten any day.
Jean was known by many and loved by all. She radiated compassion and a deep sense of caring that easily drew people in. Her presence in our lives will be missed immensely.
She was fond of reading the paper, particularly the obituaries, and would always say it was to "make sure [I] didn't see [my] name." So here it is, grandma - this one's for you. We love you forever.
There will be a viewing held at Minnich Funeral 1238 West Market St, Williamstown, PA 17098 on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 10-11 AM. Services will start at 11 AM with Rev. Brendan Hock officiating. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery, Enders.
