Jean Matott Obituary
Jean S. Matott, 83, of Mendon and Lancaster, NH passed away on Sunday April 6, 2025 with her family at her side. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Regina (Beaudoin) Roy.
Jean worked at Waters in Milford and Milford Federal Savings Bank from where she retired. Jean loved to garden and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who called her "Gigi" you could always find "Gigi" embracing one or more of them.
Jean is survived by her children: Andrea Smith and her husband Randy of Bethlehem, NH, Susan Consoletti and her husband Guy of Lancaster, NH, Marc Matott of Mendon and Lori Lussier and her husband Jerry of Mendon. Loving Grandmother of Dominic Consoletti, Andrew Consoletti and his wife Sarah, Nicholas Consoletti, Marc Matott, Jr., Matthew Matott, Krystal Knight and her fiancée Alexander Giangaspro, Steven Knight and his fiancée Danielle Perkins, Jessica Lussier and her fiancée Ryan Adams. Great Grandmother of Landon, Dorothy, Rowan and Rhett Consoletti, Roman Giangaspro, Olivia Knight, Peyton Adams, David Bathgate and Logan Knight who arrived Friday. She was the former wife of the late Andrew G. "Andy" Matott who passed away in January of 2023.
Sister In-law of Patricia Roy of Mendon and sister of the late Robert Roy and the late Louis and Judy Roy.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday (April 16th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA at 10 O'clock, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 O'clock in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street. Upton, MA. Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge MA. A visiting hour will be held Wednesday (April 16th) from 9 am to 10 am in the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
